Feel the water coming at you. I get close to the wave or don't I? Yea, I get close. I want to see the close up detail of each drop on the photograph. You can see it coming close to you.
Got to wait for the tall wave. Make sure you catch the shot as it strikes to rocks. Look for the build up before it reaches the shore.
Get close as you can, to the wave. I get detail to the wave for every bit of thick salt water coming at you. I like rock hitting wave action. Wait for high tide, you get more action to the water. At some point you got to get into the water, and reach out to the outer rock. You catch more of the wave hitting up. Do some research and see what part of the rock will receive more of the wave.
Each time you view the photo, you will notice, you will be shocked by the wave. Action photos at its best.
